What if I Don’t Have Pumpkin Pie Spice?

You can make your own pumpkin pie spice by mixing 1 tsp ground cinnamon, ½ tsp ground ginger, ¼ tsp ground nutmeg, ⅛ tsp ground allspice, and ⅛ tsp ground cloves. If you don’t have all these spices either, use the ones on the list that you do have. They are all warm, delicious, fall-inspired spices!

Can I Make Pumpkin Spice Frosting Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! You can make this frosting 3-4 ahead of time, place it in an airtight container and store it in the fridge. It may get a bit harder when cold, so before piping it or spreading it over your baked goods, let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes or until soft.
