Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits

Easy enough for amateur bakers, you’ll find yourself craving them every so often!

It’s amazing how just a few ordinary ingredients combined can make such delicious mounds of pure joy.

Ingredients for Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits

  • All-purpose flour is the base for these soft and fluffy biscuits.
  • Sugar to add a touch of sweetness.
  • Baking powder is used as the leavening agent. This is not yeast dough. You will need one whole tablespoon of baking powder.
  • Salt to season the biscuits. If you’re keeping an eye on your sodium intake, use only a pinch.
  • Garlic powder. Use it sparingly because of its strong concentrated garlic flavor.
  • Buttermilk makes for soft, fluffy biscuits. If you don’t have any, you can make your own by combining one cup of milk with one tbsp of white vinegar or lemon juice.
  • Butter. Use unsalted butter because we are already adding a pinch to the flour mixture.
  • Shredded cheddar cheese mixed into the dough will melt when baked!
