Ingredients for Cranberry JellO Salad Recipe
- Cherry Jell-O
- Boiling water
- Crushed pineapple
- Whole cranberry sauce
- Chopped pecans
- Apple juice
- Cream cheese
- Confectioners sugar
- Sour cream
- Vanilla extract
How to Make Cranberry Jello Salad
1. Make the jell-O by combining it with boiling water.
2. Mix in the crushed pineapple, cranberry sauce, ¾ cup chopped pecans, and apple juice until well combined.
3. Pour into a 9×13-inch baking dish and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
4. Make the creamy topping by beating the cream cheese, confectioners sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
5. Spread the creamy topping evenly over the set jell-O mixture and top with the remaining ¼ cup of chopped pecans. Serve cold.
How to Store Cranberry Jello Salad Recipe
This dessert needs to be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container or wrapped with plastic wrap. It keeps fresh for up to 3 days. It is not recommended to freeze this dessert.
Can I Use a Different Flavored Jell-O?
Yes, you can! You can use any red-colored jell-O like raspberry, strawberry, or even better, cranberry if you can find it!
If you want to increase the cranberry flavor, swap the apple juice for cranberry juice as well!

- 20 oz can crushed pineapple (with juice)
- 15 oz whole cranberry sauce
- 1 cup chopped pecans (or your favorite nuts) divided
- ¾ cup apple juice
For the creamy topping:
- 8 oz cream cheese
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
