  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Mustard powder
  • All-purpose flour
  • Avocado or olive oil
  • Unsalted butter
  • Garlic
  • Fresh parsley
  • Chicken broth

How To Make Garlic Butter Chicken Bites Recipe

    1. Place the chicken cubes into a large bowl and sprinkle the salt, pepper, paprika, mustard powder, and flour on top. Toss until well combined.

    2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the oil. Once the oil is hot, place the chicken pieces and don’t touch them for 4 minutes. Flip them and let them brown on the other side for 4 more minutes. You may need to work in batches so the chicken bites can brown and not steam.

    3. Once all the chicken pieces are browned, add the 2 tbsp unsalted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Cook for one more minute and transfer to a plate.

    4. Add 1 more tbsp of butter to the skillet, without removing the bits and pieces stuck to it, and whisk in the flour. Cook for about 30 seconds until slightly golden brown.

    5. Whisk in the chicken broth and cook until thickened.

    6. Return the chicken to the skillet and heat until warmed through, about 2 minutes.

If you have any leftovers, or plan to make this dish ahead of time, let the chicken come to room temperature and place in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave until warmed through. This is a great meal prep recipe!

For the chicken

  • 3 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

For the gravy:

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
