- Shredded rotisserie chicken
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Cream of chicken soup
- Milk
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper
- Refrigerated crescent rolls
How to Make Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls
1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. Make the filling: combine the shredded chicken, ½ cup mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a large bowl/
3. Place the unrolled crescent rolls on your work surface and add about ⅓ cup of the chicken mixture on the wide part. Roll the crescent roll from the wide part to the tip.
4. Transfer the rolls to the baking dish, seam side down.
5. Make the sauce: place the cream of chicken soup, milk, and remaining ½ cup of cheese in a small saucepan and heat until the cheese melts.
6. Pour the sauce over the rolls and bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

Yes, this dish freezes well. Let the baked rolls cool down completely, cover with plastic wrap and foil, and freeze for up to 3 months. You can either freeze the whole casserole, or freeze the individual rolls in an airtight container or freezer bag. I usually double the recipe and freeze one for later.
