  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Heavy cream
  • Sugar

How to Make Bread Pudding with Creamy Sauce

    1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and preheat the oven to 350 F.

    2. Cut the French bread into 1-inch squares and place them in a large bowl.

    3. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt and allspice.

    5. Spoon the soaked bread into the baking dish and bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set and the top in golden brown.

    7. Add the butter and cook until melted. Don’t let the mixture boil. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract.

    8. Once the bread pudding is baked, pour half of the sauce over it and save the rest for serving.

    3. Let the baked pudding cool down completely, place in a freezer bag, and freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a 350 F oven.
