  • 1 pound of chicken breast without bone and skin
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper

For The Sauce:

  • ¼ cup of packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup of low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider or rice vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 2 chopped cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Additional:

  • Steamed broccoli
  • Rice
