  • Onion and garlic to flavor the ground beef. Most savory meals benefit from this flavorful combo.
  • Dry oregano and paprika to season the ground beef. You can add the dry herbs of your choice.
  • Worcestershire sauce gives a rounded umami flavor to the dish.
  • Cream of mushroom soup adds flavor and binds the ingredients together. You can use any cream soup like chicken or celery.
  • Canned green beans are used for ease and convenience, but you can use fresh ones too. Cook them until firm-tender before adding them to the casserole.
  • Shredded cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese. You can use mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or Pepper Jack for a spicy touch.
  • Frozen tater tots to top the casserole. Bake the casserole until they are crispy and golden brown. You can add them frozen or thawed.

    3. Spoon the meat into the baking dish.
