- White bread
- Cream cheese
- Confectioner’s sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Granulated sugar
- Ground cinnamon
- Unsalted butter
- Salt
How to Make Cinnamon Crack Sticks
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Make the filling: combine the softened cream cheese with the confectioner’s sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
3. Make the cinnamon sugar by combining the granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon until well combined
4. Remove the crusts from the bread slices and roll them thin using a rolling pin.
5. Spread about one tbsp of cheese mixture onto the thin bread slices and roll them up cigar-style.
6. Melt the butter in a small bowl and dip the sticks in the butter first, then roll them in the cinnamon sugar.
7. Place the sugared sticks in the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until crispy.
Can I Make Cinnamon Crack Sticks Ahead of Time?
These sticks are so easy to make, it’s best to serve them freshly baked. But you can make the filling and keep it refrigerated in an airtight container at least 3 days before.
You can even make the sticks, cover them with butter and sugar and refrigerate for a couple of days until ready to bake.

How to Store Cinnamon Crack Sticks
Once baked, you can keep the sticks in the fridge for up to 3 days. They need to be refrigerated because of the cream cheese filling. Reheat in the toaster oven to make them crispy again.
Can I Use Whole Wheat Bread?
Yes, you can use your favorite sliced bread! As long as you can roll it thin, you’re good to go!
