Although the thought of it might seem weird, once you try this recipe, you will never go back, you will want to make it every chance you get, whether when you’re hosting, going to a potluck, or during the holidays.

How to make 7 Up Salad:

  • Step one: Put mini marshmallows on low heat with some 7 up in a pan to melt them.
  • Step two: Then, sprinkle in your jello powder and let it dissolve.
  • Step three: When done, drizzle your mix over the cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Beat until combined with a hand mixer.
  • Step four: Then, add in your nuts and pineapples and mix it carefully. Let it chill in your fridge for 3 to 4 hours for your jello to set.

Optional: The use of nuts isn’t mandatory, if you don’t like them dont add them.

  • Step five: When your jello is firm, take it out of the fridge and top with mayonnaise and cool whip. Stick it back into your fridge for 1 hour, and dig in!

I would recommend you preferably remake this recipe, to allow it to set throughout the night. This recipe can also be made and stored in the fridge with a cover on for 2 to 3 days.

Ingredients

  • 7 ounces of 7-Up
  • ¼ pound of mini marshmallows
  • 3 ounces of lime jello
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 20 ounces of drained crushed pineapples
  • 1 cup of minced pecans
  • 8 ounces of cool whip
  • ⅔ cup of mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Put mini marshmallows on low heat with some 7 up in a pan to melt them.
  2. Sprinkle in your jello powder and let it dissolve.
  3. Drizzle your mix over the cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Beat until combined with a hand mixer.
  4. Add in your nuts and pineapples and mix it carefully. Let it chill in your fridge for your jello to set.
  5. Tilop with mayonnaise and cool whip. Stick it back into your fridge for 1 hour, and dig in!
