Making homemade pizza can seem like an impossible endeavor, especially if you’re not a baker. That’s not the case with this biscuit bubble-up pizza casserole.

Bubble-Up Pizza Casserole

Instead of making pizza dough from scratch, you can use cut-up refrigerated biscuits.

It’s a genius idea that only takes a few minutes to achieve from start to finish and you can add your favorite toppings.

Ingredients for Bubble-Up Pizza Casserole

  • Refrigerated buttermilk biscuits are cut up in little pieces and used as the pizza dough.
  • Pizza sauce. Use your favorite store-bought sauce. You’ll need a 15 oz jar.
  • Italian seasoning to add extra flavor. You can use dried oregano and basil if you don’t have it.
  • Garlic powder. A little goes a long way so go easy with it. You can omit it if you don’t like garlic.
  • Shredded mozzarella. It’s highly recommended you shred your own cheese. It will taste and melt better than already shredded cheese.
  • Pepperoni slices, prosciutto, ham, sausage, or your favorite protein.
