Although the best pasta dishes are almost all Italian, this creamy chicken spaghetti recipe is strong competition, with some Tex Mex influence that takes it to some new heights. The sauce is made up of some delicious cream chicken soup, salsa, and sour cream, added to the pasta and cooked chicken, then coated with some Mexican cheese blend, and popped in the oven to bake. I vouch for this white chicken spaghetti being the greatest!
Ingredients you’ll need for Chicken Spaghetti:
- Pasta: I opted for angel hair pasta, but you can use any long pasta you would like
- Cooked chicken: boiled chicken and leftover rotisserie chicken work just the same
- Cream of chicken soup: 2 cans make the base for the sauce
- Salsa: a cup of your go-to brand, however you prefer it, mild, medium, or hot.
- Mexican crema: I find it to be more flavorful with a fine texture, but you can use regular sour cream
- Mexican cheese blend: you can use cheddar or your favorite shredded cheese
- Taco seasoning: it contributes to the seasoning without having to add any other flavorings
- Fresh parsley: for the sauce and presentation
- Chicken broth: ¼ cup, helps make the sauce a little lighter

Make-ahead Method:
In case you would like to pre-make this creamy chicken spaghetti, combine the components for the sauce with the cooked chicken, but don’t boil the pasta before you plan on popping it in the oven. Pasta tends to soak up moisture and turn into mush, while this dish is full of sauce!
Storage Chicken Spaghetti:
This chicken spaghetti will have everybody asking for more, therefore I highly suspect you would have any leftovers, but those can be put away in a sealed container, and can last in your fridge for 3 days. This dish however is best not frozen.
