How to make a one-bowl chocolate cake?

    1. Put your flour into a measuring cup and smooth out the top. Try not to plunge your cup into the bag to avoid picking up too much flour. Use a spoon instead.

    2. Prepare all your dry components and combine everything together.

    3. Pour in your wet components and use a whisk to combine into an even batter with no flour chunks.

    4. Cover a round or an 8-inch square baking sheet in foil or parchment paper and transfer in your batter. Get rid of any remaining air bubbling by carefully patting the bottom of the sheet on the counter, and cook for 25 to 30 minutes in your oven.

    5. Poke with an uncooked spaghetti noodle or a toothpick to check if it’s cooked. Now make your frosting.

    6. You won’t have to buy any box mix after this. All you need to do is measure your components out and combine them in a bowl together to get your batter. Don’t stress if it comes out watery, it will cook to perfection in your oven.
