Canned creamed corn is nothing compared to this homemade recipe. The flavors are so much more elevated than anything you buy in a can. It has all it, from creaminess, to deliciousness, this slow cooked creamed corn is everything. You don’t have to worry about preparing or cooking for that matter.
The only thing you need to do is put your components in a slow cooker, switch it on, let cook while mixing halfway. I have tried many creamed corn recipes and this is my absolute favorite. It doesn’t get more simple and tastier than this.
What Kind Of Corn Should I Use?
You can use any kind you want. Fresh corn is best, you can use it frozen, or go for canned whole-kernel corn.
If corn is in season and you can find the time, use it fresh to make your creamed corn.
Use a knife to slice the kernels from the cob. Frozen corn is a good substitute in the winter time, if you can’t find either, use canned corn.
Don’t forget to pin and save for later! 🙂

Cooking Tips For Creamed Corn
Not all slow cookers cook the same, so make sure to check up on your corn mid cooking. Make sure to mix while cooking, to combine all your ingredients with the cream cheese.
For perfect serving, pepper a dash of paprika and minced parsley over it. It gives it a good garnish and freshness.
