The Best Breakfast Pizza

What makes this recipe irresistible is the flawlessly crispy pizza dough, bacon, scrambled eggs, grated cheddar, and country sausage gravy. There’s no way your family wouldn’t love this!

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Pizza crust that’s been refrigerated: this will ease the process of making this recipe.
  • Eggs. You’ll need 8 whole eggs.
  • Milk so that your eggs are extra smooth and fluffy.
  • Butter. It is no recommended to use oil for scrambled eggs.
  • Country sausage gravy as the sauce to your pizza.
  • Dry parsley and chopped onion for the flavor.
  • Cheddar cheese. Preferably shredded at home, given that the store bought one doesn’t melt evenly. I use sharp cheddar for this recipe, but you can go with any kind you like.
  • Real bacon bits. Because they are convenient, but you can also fry the bacon yourself.

What sauce goes on breakfast pizza?

The pizza sauce is gonna be substituted with country sausage gravy, which is also simply called country gravy or white gravy. I recommend Libby’s gravy, but you can make it at home as well.

Gravy in powder form can also be utilized, it’s cheaper, and is ready to use once added to a cup of milk and stewed for 5 minutes.

What to serve with breakfast pizza?

A great side to your breakfast pizza would be a fruit salad, however, if served at brunch, Fluffy Japanese Souffle Pancakes or Old-Fashioned Pancakes go really well with these.

I would recommend Easy Apple Pie Filling Coffee Cake for dessert, as well as Banana Bread Brownies, these are to-die-for.

Can You Reheat Breakfast Pizza?

Yes, it can be reheated. Although it is doubtful to have any leftovers of these delicious breakfast pizzas, in case you do, let it fully chill, cover it all around in waxed paper, and place it in a sealed container for 3 days.

When reheating, pop it in the toaster oven or regular oven. They can be put in the microwave but they will lose their crispness that way.
