  • Slice the potatoes in half and wash them
  • Take a large baking sheet and coat it in melted butter and make sure it covers the whole thing.
  • Grate your parmesan cheese and sprinkle it . Make sure to use real parmesan cheese

Seasoning Roasted Cheesy Potatoes

Garlic salt and a little cracked black pepper are what I use for seasoning . Other seasonings, like onion powder and all-purpose season salt are also recommended, you can add them to your liking.

Baking Cheesy Red Potatoes

Put the chopped potatoes side down. The red fannies must be sticking up in the air .

Bake until you can smoothly poke them in their “fannies” with a fork. ( about 30 minutes )

Cool for 5 minutes after taking them out of the oven. Make sure to not remove the potatoes before the five minutes pass so the cheese can stick to the potatoes.

Ps: Don’t skip this step or you will lose all that crispy delicious Parmesan topping.

Ingredients

  • 10 to 12 small red potatoes
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • parmesan cheese (grated)
  • garlic salt
  • other seasonings (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Turn on your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut the potatoes in half and wash them.
  3. Take a large baking sheet and coat it in melted butter and make sure it covers the whole thing.
  4. Add cheese and the other seasonings all over the butter.
  5. Put the potato halves face down on the butter, cheese and seasonings.
  6. Put in a preheated oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until you can easily insert a fork.
  7. Before removing from the pan, let it cool for at least 5 minutes or the parmesan crust won't stick to the potato.
  8. Use Ranch dressing or Sour Cream for dipping after you serve on a plate.
