THE BEST CINNAMON ROLL RECIPE

A soft cinnamon roll, still nice and warm, with some sweet cream cheese icing on top always sounds heavenly! However, the most inconvenient part about preparing dough is the lengthy kneading process, then allowing it some time to proof, while never being sure if you’ve used the right amount of yeast.

THE BEST CINNAMON ROLL RECIPE

Ingredients For Cinnamon Roll Recipe

  • Pillsbury grands cinnamon rolls – This is my favorite brand to use due to the size, but you can use any brand you can get your hands on, I’m sure they would all turn out great.
  • Heavy whipping cream – Only a single cup of cream is laid out in the bottom of your baking dish which will seep through the cinnamon rolls. This is what gives them that soft feel.
  • Butter – You will need one stick of butter to then melt with some brown sugar and use as a graze for the cinnamon rolls.
  • Brown sugar – This recipe uses 1 cup of brown sugar.
  • Frosting – Use the same topping that is provided with the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, which is usually cream cheese frosting.

Don’t forget to read the recipe instructions for the exact quantities to use.

How to Make Cinnamon Roll Recipe?

This is in my opinion the easiest cinnamon roll recipe with the best and fluffiest results.

    1. Cover the bottom of an oiled 9×13-inch pan with the heavy cream.

    2. Arrange the uncooked cinnamon rolls over the heavy cream layer.

    3. Now melt the brown sugar and butter together over the stove inside a pan. When blended, throw in 3 tablespoons of heaving cream and mix using a whisk.

    4. Top the rolls with this glaze.

    5. Stick in your oven for 25 to 30 minutes at 350 F. Once the top is golden brown and it mostly dries on the outside. Some juices should be left on the bottom when you will start removing them from the dish which is the best part. Top the cinnamon rolls with the liquid when serving.

    6. Finish up with the cream cheese icing or frosting that comes with the cinnamon rolls as well as the juices in the pan, and serve!

Can You Freeze NO-YEAST Cinnamon Rolls?

Cinnamon rolls before frosting can be stored in the freezer for 3 months in a sealed container. Let them go back to room temperature before adding the topping and enjoy! Avoid freezing rolls after you’ve iced them.

HOW TO STORE CINNAMON ROLL Recipe?

To best store them, let them completely set and chill before transferring them to a sealed container.

Keep the icing in a container alone too. These two hold up at room temperature for 3 to 5 days.

  • 2 cans of Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls
  • 1 cup and 3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Turn on your oven to 350 F.
  2. Use cooking spray to grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  3. Arrange the cinnamon roll inside the dish then spread the whipping cream all around.
  4. Put the brown sugar and butter to melt in a saucepan.
  5. When done, add in the 3 other tablespoons of heavy cream and whisk until soft.

Notes

  • I highly recommend Pillsbury Grand’s cinnamon rolls for this one. Other brands taste great too, but they’re not on the same level.
  • Keep the leftovers in a sealed container and store in the fridge. Never dump the juices left in the bottom of the pan.
