This recipe never fails to impress me every time I make it. It’s not only so simple, but only requires 3 ingredients you can easily find at home, to prepare the tastiest garlic chicken ever.

4 Ingredients Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken - Recipe

The ingredients this requires are brown sugar, chicken breasts, and garlic. The oven gets everything nice and caramelized for you to enjoy.

You will only need a few minutes of prep and 20 minutes to bake, before you can experience the deliciousness of this meal. This will take you up to 30 minutes in total and you won’t even have to go to the store because it’s made out of basic ingredients.

    1. Turn on your oven to 400 F and grease a casserole dish using cooking spray.

    2. In your olive oil, sear the chopped garlic without browning it. Put it to the side

    3. Transfer the  chicken breasts to the dish and coat with pepper and salt on each side.

    4. With the seared garlic, mix the brown sugar and use it to cover the top of the chicken breasts.

    5. Leave uncovered and bake for up to 20 minutes until your chicken breasts are fully cooked.

A fan favorite is usually a salad and white rice, but also baby potatoes that are pan-fried.

Allow the chicken breasts to fully chill before placing them in a freezer bag or a sealed container to freeze for 3 months.

You can check on the brown sugar on top while the chicken breasts are in the oven to keep an eye on the edges on the dish. If they start burning before the time is up, remove the casserole from the oven and try to get rid of the sides using a spoon.

If the sugar gets stuck to the spoon, just let it soak in a glass of water to melt off. Only remove the sugar if it turns black, it will ruin the taste, which doesn’t happen often.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (skinless and boneless)
  • 4 chopped garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons of olive oil
  • Pepper and salt to your liking

Instructions

  1. Warm up your oven at 400F and use cooking spray to grease a casserole dish.
  2. Sear the chopped garlic in some olive oil to soften it. Put it to the side.
  3. In the casserole dish, arrange your chicken breasts and coat on each side with pepper and salt.
  4. Stir the brown sugar into the pan with the sauteed garlic and lay it out over the chicken breasts.
  5. Leave without a cover and bake for up to 20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
