How to Roasted Broccoli?

Vegetables are always best when roasted. Just separate the florets from two broccoli heads. Coat your veggie in the oil seasoning mix, then in the cheese breadcrumbs and place in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes to roast.

This recipe is one of my all-time favorites. It goes really well with grilled fish fillets and roasted chicken.

Helpful Tips For Roasted Broccoli!

You can use aluminum foil but parchment paper is best, especially the unbleached kind. This ensures your vegetables never stick and it makes the cleaning process easier.

Shred your own cheese at home. Don’t go for the green bottle kind.

Replace the oil with melted butter. It makes the broccoli crunchy and buttery.

CAN I USE FROZEN BROCCOLI TO MAKE THIS DISH?

For the best results, avoid using frozen broccoli. It’s usually blanched before the freezing process. This kind contains a lot of water which won’t allow it to develop that crunch when baking.

CAN I MAKE THIS GLUTEN-FREE?

Skip the breadcrumbs and add more parmesan, or use the gluten-free kind instead.

CAN I MAKE THIS WITH CAULIFLOWER TOO?

Of course! You can use a combination of broccoli and cauliflower, or omit the broccoli altogether.

CAN I MAKE THIS DISH IN MY AIR FRYER?

Definitely, put the timer on for 8 minutes in your air fryer, making sure that your broccoli is cooked when it’s done. Air fryers are usually two times quicker than the oven.
